Visiting Nurses Association is holding a clinic especially for staff and community members (all are welcome over the age of 4, especially students – students must come with their parents). Where: Denny Cafeteria (Galleria) park in the lot outside Denny and you can walk straight down to the Galleria Doors (go past the Main office doors to get there) 2601 SW Kenyon St. – 206-252-9000 Time: 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm September 25th Cost: They take all insurance including Apple Health and Medicare. Any student will receive the shot for free if they do not have insurance.

You are Invited: Communities in Schools is Hosting a Community Resource Fair Thursday, March 15th 5:30-7:30 pm: The community fair is going to be an event where local organizations and agencies are going to be informing our families about housing resources, health information, tutoring information, college scholarships, and much more! There will be a light dinner served from 5:30-6:00 pm followed by an opportunity to visit different organizations. We also have kid-friendly activities in the gym including a movie and arts and crafts. There will also be a raffle. Fall 2016 Growth Boundaries Meeting Notice The Seattle Public Schools Board of Directors approved school boundary changes for several elementary and middle schools in November 2013. WEST SEATTLE EAST AFRICAN FAMILY MEETING All East African families and their children are invited to this important event Co-sponsored by Denny International Middle School and the Seattle Police Department. The purpose of this meeting is to provide valuable resources and information to support the well-being of our East African families. Participants will learn about: ~ Academic offerings at Denny, Sealth, and in college, including information on college scholarships ~ How to identify concerns such as youth violence and gang involvement and what to do about it ~ Family services to support parents with their children ~ Community resources Saturday, November 21st 10:00 am–4:00 pm at DENNY INTERNATIONAL MIDDLE SCHOOL 2601 SW Kenyon St Lunch, time for prayer, and prizes are provided!
