A varietal so widely loved but sometimes completely overworked by so many winemakers\, our goal is to show you the beauty\, elegance and grace that Chardonnay has to offer. Join us as we join folks around the world to sip and savor a range of Chards from Chablis style to barrel fermented and aged. We’ll be sharing wines from Burgundy and Oregon (one wine from limited production\, less than 75 cases\, is being shipped up just for the tasting…not available anywhere else in the market!) as well as a few great local examples. And for our fellow burghounds out there…we have aSPECIAL TREAT to share with you from Bichot at the tasting! And\, a tank sample bottle of a new Oregon preview just arrived that we’ll be sharing tomorrow night. We have one bottle of that one to share with you so arrive earlier than later to try it! DESCRIPTION:Announcement: \nWeekly Tasting Friday (3/30):  ALMOST 2…anniversary tasting – part 1!\nSince April Fool’s Day falls on a Sunday this year\, we’ve decided to celebrate the Friday before and after. We’re kicking off our 2-part celebration this Friday with a tasting of our own 41 wines. If you weren’t aware\, Jon and I have been making wine on a casual level for the past seven years. In 2009 we bumped up our production to barrel format with a total of 3 barrels or 75 cases per year (about as boutique as it gets :). We’ll have ‘2’ vintages to compare of both our Chardonnay and our Pinot Noir (the 2009 Pinot is sold out except for 1 case we held back for the tasting). In addition\, we’ll be releasing our first ever Cabernet Sauvignon that we made from Horse Heaven Hills from 2009.
