West Seattle Nursery free class: Native Plants

On Sunday, 9/11, we have a class at 12:30 called “Native Plants: What They Are, Why They Matter, and How to Use Them in the Landscape,” with Kyle Henegar. Here’s a little bit about her:

“Kyle has been involved in the horticulture industry in the greater Seattle area since 1999.

She was the Pacific Connections Horticulturist at the Washington Park Arboretum; UW Botanic Gardens from 2009- 2014. It was there that she gained her full appreciation for the native plants of Cascadia.

She spent fifteen years as an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist, and as an ISA Tree Risk Assessor.

She’s been an associate at West Seattle Nursery since 2004.”
