Friday, September 28, 2012, West Seattle Garden Club holds its first regular meeting of the Autumn season from 10 am to 2 pm at Daystar Retirement Village, 2615 SW Barton Street, Building #1, Seattle, 98126.
Starting with Registration ($5 Donation) and Social Time, at 10:30 am Business meeting leading into Study Program, Commentary of Design and Horticulture Exhibits and Brown Bag Lunch at 12 noon. The Club provides dessert and beverages. The l pm Program will feature a presentation on “Kubota Garden” brought by Joan Hobart, Historian and member of their Board of Directors. This twenty acres of hills and valleys, features streams, waterfalls, ponds and rocks, designed to display the beauty of the Pacific Northwest in a Japanese Manner, representing a more than 60 year vision of the Kubota Family.
