West Seattle Democratic Women – NOVEMBER 2018 PROGRAM

November 15, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

For our meeting and program, I thought we could take in a breath and take in a movie with other WSDWers and neighbors, since we all deserve something inspiring and engaging, yet still relevant and informative!

As we move from election season into the holiday season, our November program, we will be a screening of “RBG”, the award-winning documentary about Supreme Court Justice and “pop icon” Ruth Bader Ginsburg! It is relevant and contemporary (#MeToo, Kavanaugh, Trump, etc.), and can be a great guide as we pledge to keep our eyes on the highest court in the land–and it is a film that movie-goers and critics alike are still raving about!

Also we are actively seeking Officers for our Executive Board and Committee Chairs. If you are looking for ways to get involved but don’t know what to do, this could be a wonderful way, with a low-key time commitment, to make a big difference in our organization and in our community! Don’t forget to bring your unused, unopened sample- and hotel/travel-size items (shampoo/conditioner/lotion, lip balm, toothbrush/& paste, cosmetic samples, perfume samples, spa/facial masks, aromatherapy products, mani-pedi products, etc.) We are collecting them for our December Holiday Service Party! We will be filling over 100 goodie bags, so we need as many of these items as you can bring (Thank You!)
