Welcome the Orcas Public Event

Hosted by The Whale Trail and Seal Sitters with support from the Department of Fish & Wildlife.

Join us for a fun, family-friendly and educational event to celebrate the return of the Southern Resident orcas to the central Sound. Kids’ activities, environmental booths, face painting, orca BINGO and an orca parade!

Event-goers are encouraged to dress in their best “orca spirit” costumes!

When: Saturday, Dec. 1, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Orca parade at Noon!

Program

10 a.m. Welcome
10-11:30 a.m. Activities for kids, games and partner booths
11:30 a.m. Featured Speakers
Noon Orca Parade led by J, K and L orcas
12:30-2 p.m. Event continues with a light reception
