Come one and all to celebrate Confucius Institute Day 2015 with a performance of Chinese acrobatics, dance, and traditional Sichuan face changing on Wednesday, September 23, at 7 pm. This 25-member troupe from Seattleās sister city in China, Chongqing, will perform only in Seattle and San Francisco.
Sponsors are the Seattle-Chongqing Sister City Association and the Confucius Institute of the State of Washington.
Performances include: dance performanes āThe King of Qin Reviewing the Troops,ā āSwan Goose,ā āBamboo Branch Song,ā āGirls Playing Water,ā Pipa and Erheen Solo āDreaming of Wushan,ā Acrobatic shows entitled āStrengthā and āTake the Seatā; and Chuan Opera āPi Jin Rolling Light,ā āShoot Eaglesā and āFace Off.ā
