Metro League High School 2023 track & field meets get started in a few weeks at Nino Cantu SWAC. Dates for this season are:
3/23 – regular meet
3/30 – regular meet
4/05 – regular meet
4/20 – regular meet
4/27 – regular meet
5/04 – regular meet
5/10 – league meet, preliminaries and some finals
5/12 – league meet, finals
5/17 – district meet, preliminaries and some finals
5/19 – district meet, finals

All meets start mid-afternoon. We’re short-staffed again this season, so volunteers — preferably with some abilities to accurately time and/or measure — would likely be welcome. Anyone interested can simply turn up around 14:30 each day and make themselves known to the meet manager.

Additionally, with the temporary closure of SEAC for Rainier Beach High School reconstruction, more teams will be competing at each of the SWAC regular meets this season. Meets will likely run well into the evenings.
