Taproot School is a small, certified, K-5 program in West Seattle that sits on the Fauntleroy Watershed. We are nestled between the creek where we raise our Salmon and the Salish Sea, where we are stewards of the Duwamish land.

Taproot School is built on relationships that honor each individual student and where they are in their learning journey as we become agents of change by challenging bias as an inclusive community.
