Mardi Gras evening

Join us for a family-friendly Mardi Gras evening on Tuesday evening, February 25, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church. We will celebrate a simple liturgy designed especially for children with the imposition of ashes, taize chants and Holy Eucharist at 6:00 p.m. in the church’s vesting room–a peaceful, meditative space. Pancakes will be hot and ready upstairs in the Parish Hall before and following the service. Come for the pancakes and stay for the ashes or come for the ashes and stay for the pancakes!
