Lola E. Peters, social activist, poet, and author, will read from her new collection of essays The Truth About White People. The book is about her experience of growing up and living as a Black person in White America from the Civil Rights Era of the 60’s to the present day. Sunday, November 1, 2015, 5:30–6:30 pm at Westside Unitarian
Universalist Church.
