Laudato Si: A Faithful Response to Climate Change featuring Jeff Renner

7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, Our Lady of Guadalupe parish Walmesley Center, 3410 SW Myrtle St., West Seattle.

Holy Rosary and Our Lady of Guadalupe parishes are co-sponsoring an evening with Jeff Renner called “Laudato Si: A Faithful Response to Climate Change” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, in the Walmesley Center at OLG. Jeff, a member of Mary, Queen of Peace parish in Sammamish, will discuss the changes he’s observed in our climate during 38 years as chief meteorologist and science reporter with KING-TV in Seattle. He will also talk about the latest science and how it relates to Pope Francis’ 2015 encyclical “Laudato Si: On Care for our Common Home.”
