Society of Wonder is proud to host the album release show for Geist & the Sacred Ensemble’s 2nd release with Moon Glyph records “Within”.

We have a wonderful bill booked with Arrington de Dionyso, Magic Mirror (Corum) and God and Vanilla! We also have a special installation planned! Friday, February 5th, 9:00 pm at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center.

This show will start promptly at 9 pm. Admission is a suggested sliding scale donation of $5-15. Doors at 8:30 pm.

Arrington de Dionyso – conjures Utopic Spaces with multiphonic vocal work & minimalist instrumentation. It’s shamanic seance meets rock and roll ecstasy; “TRANCE PUNK” combining traditional ritual trance, electrified experimental approaches, dancehall rhythms, gamelan scales and mystically inspired Indonesian incantations.

Corum presents Magic Mirror – Touring from Belfast, Maine to bring us his Solo visions of landscapes and old world access points for understanding the origins, and future, of a developing holographic universe. Magic Mirror is also a member of the jungle/improv group Million Brazillians and co founder of Psychic Sounds Research.

God and Vanilla – The ethereal dark ambient project of solo guitarist Richard O’Leary, creates lush tapestries and hauntingly inviting dreamscapes that draw the listener to an otherworldly place where warm colors run together to create beautiful portraits.
