SPD will be hosting DEA Drug Take Back – expired or unwanted prescription medication – and Food Drive at the SW Precinct and the North Precinct on October 28th from 10 AM to 2 PM. Additionally, we are piloting a food drive to benefit the West Seattle Food Bank. Below is a list of request donations from the Food Banks.

Canned goods (preferably low-sodium)

Condiments and seasoning

Grains (rice, pasta, other shelf-stable grains)

Ramen

Soups

Breakfast items (dry cereal, single serve oatmeal)

Juices and drinks (shelf-stable fruit juices, bottled water)

Snacks (healthy snack options, dried fruit)

Hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, hand sanitizer, shampoo/conditioner)

Clothing (men’s or women’s jackets, socks, blankets)
