HISTORY HOUR: DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH
July 19, 1-2 p.m.
This month commemorates the 1990 passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which prohibits
discrimination against individuals with disabilities and recognizes that disabilities are a part of human diversity. Join our staff social worker Mo Fain for a discussion and Q&A about the disability rights movement and living with disabilities. Entry fee: $10 members and non-members. RSVP requested.
No RSVP needed for regular classes; our lectures and special programs require advance RSVP, due to their popularity and limited seating. Stop by the Front Desk or call the Senior Center at 206-932-4044. See all of this month’s programs and activities at sc-ws.org.
