Community Conversation: An Immigrant’s Journey with Claudia Castro Luna

Please join us for an important community conversation, with food and a tour, featuring Claudia Castro Luna, Seattle Civic Poet on Thursday, February 4th from 5-7 pm at Southwest Youth and Family Services.

SWYFS welcomes Seattle Civic Poet, Claudia Castro Luna as she shares her personal journey as an immigrant and how it has shaped her poetry. We will also hear from other community members about their own immigration journeys, enjoy a dinner rich in diversity and learn more about SWYFS. Childcare provided.

5-6 pm, food, mingling, tour
6-7 pm, program with Claudia Castro Luna and local family immigration testimonials
