Connie Wurm will be giving a class titled, “How to attract native birds to your back yard,” on Sunday, January 29th at 1 p.m. This class is for the whole family – children are welcome! There will be free handouts of lists of native plants that feed and house our native birds, blueprints for building your own bird nest box, and of course books and feeders and nest boxes ready to hang as February is the start of mating season. It’s also a perfect time to plant trees and shrubs to invite native birds into your yard.
