Village Green Perennial Nursery Children’s Growing Garden invites kids and parents to join them for weekly gardening!

Together we will dig, plant, tend and harvest the vegetable gardens and berry patches.

We’ll learn all about growing a veggie garden, from weeding and preparing the soil to planting seeds and watching them grow. We’ll talk about wildlife in the garden and how we love earthworms and ladybugs and what it takes to have healthy soil. As the plants grow, we’ll get to sample the delicious bounty that we’ve grown together. There’s nothing like snacking on fresh veggies you’ve grown yourself!

Thursdays from 3:15 pm to 5:15 pm – FREE
Parents can shop while your children garden, parents of younger kids (less than 5) please stay nearby.
