The annual SWS picnic has been scheduled for Thursday Sept. 21st, from 4 pm to 7 pm. We invite you to join us and celebrate a successful year of community building and advocacy for more sustainable life choices. This year we will be at Puget Ridge Edible Park . This Seattle City Park is a 2/3 acre community garden dedicated to growing food for the surrounding neighborhood. You can also find out much more about the other projects associated with SWS and have some time to express your concerns about our sustainability.
We will be honoring some hard working folks for their involvement in the sustainable community with the annual SWS sustainability award.
The Metro Bus route 125 stops at 18th and Dawson one block north of the park. Biking and walking to the event is also encouraged!

This picnic is a potluck. Please bring a dish to share, a chair, and reusable eating ware.
