For all of those West Seattleites who love the park and want to help keep it beautiful…The Friends of Schmitz Park Preserve meets on the LAST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM 9 AM-NOON at the Admiral/Stevens entrance. Volunteers will help with trail maintenance, reforestation, removal of invasive species as well as learn park history and identify flora and fauna.
