Free Workshop: Preserving Your Family Collections of Photographs and Artwork

Photo and art archivist Annabelle Larner (of Larner Archiving & Preservation) teaches a free workshop on Wednesday May 8th, 3 pm in the Nucor Room at the West Seattle Senior Center.

This workshop will give you some helpful tips on how to care for your collections of photographs, artwork, and heirlooms so they can be preserved for the future.

• Tips for digitizing collections for viewing and sharing on the web
• Samples of a variety of photographs and methods
• Proper care for fine art collections
• Organizing and archiving photographs
• Storage do’s and don’ts
