Help remove invasive plants at Lincoln Park

Come to Lincoln Park on Sunday, August 19th from 9 am to noon to help clean up and remove invasive plant species. More from the organizers:

Lincoln Park is a lovely, cool place to hang out on these hot days! And you can get points for helping the environment along with a green work out. Join the Friends of Lincoln Park as we do invasive plant removal in the Park. Meet at the kiosk in the north parking lot (Fauntleroy Way SW and SW Rose St). Sturdy shoes or boots and long sleeves and pants recommended, even if it’s hot (brambles). Bring garden gloves and hand clippers, or we’ll have extras.
