Another quick update: Last night, we heard from a few people who had seen the signage being taken down while passing by Sunfish at 2800 Alki SW, and as a result were worried that maybe it was closing or changing. So we went by today to check. What we found out: Sunfish is alive and well. The awning and sign just came down for refurbishment, and are expected back in a few weeks.
Heads and Shoulders above Spuds! Been coming here for several years. Glad it’s just getting a new look as long as they don’t change the food!
Eating at Sunfish right now! There’s a beautiful breeze coming off the water and it’s actually peaceful on Alki today. The Greek salad, salmon, and halibut are delicious! Hands down the best fish+ chips around! The brothers are slightly bemused that their awning upgrade is a story on the blog, but they sure appreciate their customers’loyalty.

That’s a relief! I LOVE Sunfish. For anyone who hasn’t tried it, you’ve got to. They’ve got the best fish and chips in Seattle, and our family loves their calamari. Sunfish is one of our favorite restaurants in West Seattle and in the whole city.
did you hafta talk about calamari and salmon and fish and chips with garlic vinegar and delicious tartar sauce and oysters with fries or scallops or how about a lovely fish kabob or a big ole piece of halibut,,,and wash it all down with a nice lemonade
