Still looking for a summer camp? Sealth program has room

Still have room in your summer-camp program? Let us know – we’re putting together a list this week. For starters, here’s an update from Chief Sealth International High School basketball coach Colin Slingsby:

Sealth Basketball and Life Skills Camp is hosting three sessions this summer, and registration is still open for all sessions! The dates are as follows:

Session 1- June 25th to June 29th (about 20 spots left!)
Session 2- July 9th to July 13th
Session 3- August 6th to August 10th

Our Y Summer Camps offer kids a chance to try new things, play all day and make friends.

A variety of fun, local Day Camps for preschoolers, elementary age.

Great Overnight Camps @ YMCA Camp Colman and YMCA Camp Orkila.

The Community Day School Association (CDSA)has spaces available for K-5 students at two West Seattle locations. At the Sanislo location we will be partnering with Washington Reading Corps, the Pacific Science Center, to provide literacy and science based enrichment activities. In addition we will have weekly field trips including, just to name a few, a trip to Tillicum Village, outdoor rock climbing and a Seattle Storm game. CDSA is open 7am to 6pm M-F and accepts city funding and DSHS. Check out our website at http://www.communitydayschool.org for more information.

The Animating Cartoons summer day camp is also still taking students.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Our students are coached by knowledgeable, skilled instructors who will work with the kids each step of the way; from story development, to character design, digital imaging, cartoon animation, and voice-overs using industry-level production software including Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Soundbooth, and more.

    Day Camp dates are:
    June 25th-29th (4 seats open)
    July 9th-13th (5 seats open)

Doors open at 8:30am and close at 5:30pm – Parents may drop off their child at anytime during operational hours.

Hi – Please *e-mail us* any camp info we can include on an upcoming list – You are welcome to comment here as well but that won’t get you onto the forthcoming list – I need to hear directly from folks (and have heard from several already). We will likely continue to update the list for a few weeks to come, so that one will have staying power. – Tracy

Sorry, comment time is over.
